Maryna Markowicz is currently a Program Associate with the Executive Leadership Seminars at the Aspen Institute, overseeing programs for organizations. In this capacity, Maryna works closely with leading businesses and high-profile clients around the globe to develop, design, and execute bespoke leadership seminars that address a specific set of pressing leadership challenges.
She was born in Austria and has lived in Slovakia, Ukraine, Georgia (the country), and the United States. She proudly calls Kyiv, Ukraine her home. This past May, she had the honor to serve as the VIP Relations Manager for Ukraine House Davos (UHD) in Davos, Switzerland. UHD returned this year alongside the World Economic Forum to unify and inform the response of the global community to Russia’s war on Ukraine.
In 2019, she received her B.A. in International Relations with a minor in Business Administration & Management from Boston University. Prior to joining the Aspen Institute, Maryna had the privilege to work with the Ukrainian National Information Service (UNIS) – the public affairs bureau of the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA), the InterGovernmental Consultations on Migration, Asylum and Refugees (IGC), US Embassy’s America House Kyiv, Pardee School of Global Studies Initiative on Forced Migration and Human Trafficking (FMHT), and USAID project Governing for Growth (G4G).
