Olivia O’Neil

Assistant Director, Events & Operations at The Aspen Institute

Olivia O’Neil is Assistant Director, Events & Operations for the Leadership Division. Olivia oversees the planning, program development, and operations for 15+ global seminars and events each year, including the Resnick Aspen Action Forum, a signature summer event of the Aspen Institute with over 600 attendees from 35 countries around the globe. In addition to providing cross-cutting support to Leadership Division teams, Olivia also leads the effort to build out strategic goals including scaling access for people to participate in leadership development opportunities, building an expanded and inclusive network of leaders, and diversifying revenue streams and funding sources.

Prior to joining the Aspen Institute, Olivia served as an Associate Director in the Obama White House. During her time there, Olivia produced a number of foreign and diplomatic messaging events for President Obama in over 23 states and 6 countries. Her team managed more than 1,500 events which resulted in more than 3.7 million visitors to the White House over the course of the Obama Administration. Olivia graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia in 2014 and has a certificate in Budget and Finance from Georgetown University. She is a 5th generation Coloradoan from Boulder.
