Melissa Heeke

Melissa Heeke, MLD, CAE, currently serves as the Membership Director at the Association for Information Systems, focusing on global membership recruitment and retention for over 5,000 members. In parallel, Melissa holds the position of Director of Membership at Raybourn Group International, leading initiatives on membership engagement through a special interest group and contributing to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. Previously, as the Membership & Communications Director for the Midwest Political Science Association, Melissa increased membership by 32% through strategic programs and communication. Additionally, Melissa has extensive experience in communications and marketing from roles at the National Chimney Sweep Guild and the Chimney Safety Institute of America, where leadership in campaigns and program development bolstered membership growth. Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Leadership Development and Non-Profit Leadership from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communications from Indiana State University.
