Eduard Sanders is a medical doctor (MD, MPH, PhD) and a CDC-trained epidemiologist with a specialization in HIV research and public health. Currently a Specialist Scientist in HIV Prevention at The Aurum Institute since March 2023, Eduard has extensive experience in Africa, having worked in Kenya and Ethiopia since 1992. Prior to this role, Eduard served as a Principal Investigator and academic advisor at the University of Oxford from October 2003 to May 2023, focusing on the development of vaccines and therapeutics in various clinical trials. Eduard's educational background includes a PhD in Public Health from the University of Amsterdam, an MPH in International Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and an MD from the University of Amsterdam.
