James Plummer

James had been at Avalon since 2014, and in that time has managed various departments such as Marketing, Communications, and Fundraising. His current role is the Business Development Manager, helping Avalon to grow its services and develop new income streams through new contracts, property development, and non-statutory funding such as grants and trusts.

James has worked in social care for more than a decade, with previous experience managing Community Planning departments for construction companies, and managing executive remuneration within the financial sector.

James is passionate about creating opportunities for people to be able to achieve their goals and dreams, and that’s why he loves what he does at Avalon. Through Business Development initiatives they create meaningful new support services for the customers, and they also create new jobs for the communities they work within, so it feels really good to be part of building Avalon’s future.
