A/Prof Ashwin Subramaniam has a diverse work experience in the field of healthcare. A/Prof Ashwin then went on to study at the University of Melbourne from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a Master of Medicine degree with a specialization in Nutrition in ICU patients. Subramaniam further pursued their education and became a member of both the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand in 2013, earning the FCICM qualification, and The Royal Australasian College of Physicians in the same year, earning the FRACP qualification.
