Adam Jones

Adam Jones is a quantitative research advisor at The Behavioural Insights Team, specializing in trial design and analysis for online experiments since May 2021. Adam has led or contributed to over 30 projects across diverse policy areas, including product ranking algorithms, online gambling interventions, and the effects of gamified stock trading on retail investors. Prior to this role, Adam held various positions in the ice hockey field, including assistant coach and professional player for the Basingstoke Bison, where notable achievements include reaching the playoff finals and serving as team captain. Adam's diverse background also includes experience as a completions advisor at Kier Group and various instructional roles at Okanagan Hockey Group. Educationally, Adam holds a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Surrey and a Bachelor of Science in Open Degree focusing on Economics and Statistics from The Open University.
