Job description

As an Operations Lead at Bluebird, you will be committed to our clients' success by overseeing the management of their items across multiple ecommerce platforms. Your keen attention to detail, inventiveness, and hunger for excellence will ensure that each brand is represented at a best-in-class standard. With your project management and communication skills, you will drive the execution of tasks and serve as the liaison between our clients and the rest of the Bluebird team. The operations team is charged with managing brands' information, supply chain, and compliance within ecommerce platforms. Responsibilities:

  • Own & execute projects by organizing and resourcing tasks to ensure efficient delivery before deadlines.
  • Take ownership in troubleshooting uncommon issues then implement solutions and document process.
  • File support tickets and see them through to completion.
  • Responsible for ensuring monthly financial processes are efficient, effective and up to date (chargebacks, accruals, returns, etc.). Drive catalog quality control, prioritization, workload, and consistency.
  • Proficient understanding on the topics of retail attributes, logistics and omnichannel fulfillment on a wide variety of platforms (1p, 3p, BOPIS, BOSS).
  • Proactively enhance operational efficiency by creating and updating process documentation and technology, while researching and advising the operations team on industry trends, learnings and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that operational requirements are integrated into new initiatives, projects, and products for your client set.
  • May supervise a small group of team members, assigning and checking work, assisting, and instructing as required, and performing the same work as those supervised or closely related work, a portion of the time.
  • Handle communications tactfully and present data and recommendations in a way that impacts the company's position, prestige, relationship, operations, and end results.
  • Communicate promptly and coordinate with external contacts and build self-initiated relationships within the team cross-functionally.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or experience equivalent to four years of college) in a related field
  • 2 years of related work experience, preferably related to ecommerce or retail
  • Strong and tactful communication skills (written and verbal) to build relationships with internal and external contacts, discuss problems, present data and give recommendations.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit – ability to pivot quickly, a curiosity to learn, and a sense of ownership and confidence in leading clients and cross functional partners
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Skilled at managing project timelines to ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Excellent in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to take constructive feedback as a tool for professional growth
  • Able to digest, analyze, and visualize large sets of data from multiple sources with accuracy
