Alex Chafitz

Alex Chafitz, PMP, serves as a Principal and Senior Associate at The Cadmus Group, where responsibilities include managing a $3.7 million yearly contract supporting FEMA in various areas such as preparedness assessments and program evaluations. Prior experience includes serving as a Research/Senior Analyst at Obsidian, a Cadmus Company, and as an Academic Advisor at the University of Maryland. Additional roles include internships at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the Office of Congressman Brad Sherman, and the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START). Alex Chafitz holds a Master of Public Policy (MPP) with a focus on International Security & Economic Policy and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government, both from the University of Maryland.
