Minh Ta

Minh Ta is a seasoned professional in government affairs with extensive experience in legislative and policy advocacy. Currently serving as Principal of Global Government Affairs at The Carlyle Group since March 2019, Minh Ta has previously held significant positions, including Chief of Staff for Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester and Congresswoman Gwen Moore, as well as Legislative Director for Congressman Keith Ellison. Additional roles include Associate at the Center for the Study of Social Policy, Director of Public Policy at the Children's Defense Fund Minnesota Office, Lobbyist at Capitol Hill Associates, and Policy Advocate at Family & Children's Service. Minh Ta holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, earned between 2004 and 2005.
