Kauthar M. Omar

Kauthar M. Omar is currently a PHD Student at Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG), with previous experience as an Instructor at The Carpentries and as a Graduate Research Fellow at ICIPE - International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology. Kauthar has also held intern positions at HackBio, ICIPE, and the Goverment Chemist's Department. Kauthar holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied bioengineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from Pwani University, and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biomedicine at Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
