Heather Ahern

Heather Ahern is an experienced educator with a focus on language and literacy instruction. Currently serving as a Language Teacher at The Carroll School since September 2014, Heather has previously held various roles including Literacy Consultant at Bay State Reading Institute and Educational Therapist in private practice. Additional experience includes positions as a Learning Specialist at Learning Project Elementary School and Special Education Teacher at Lynnfield Middle School. Heather's educational background includes a Master of Education degree from Boston College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Rochester Institute of Technology. Heather was also a Member of the Massachusetts Branch of the International Dyslexia Association from 2000 to 2016 and served as Assistant Director at Commonwealth Learning Center.
