Lopavit Mahapun

Lopavit Mahapun has a diverse work experience in data analytics and statistical analysis. Starting in 2012, Lopavit worked as a Research Intern at Technische Universität Darmstadt, where they analyzed the validity of assumptions made in cross-docking research. In 2013, Lopavit joined Michelin as an Industrial Engineer, performing time studies and designing projects for increased production capacity. In 2016, Lopavit worked as an intern at the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Texas A&M University, applying advanced statistical methods to determine casual relationships between mortality causes of lung cancer and demographic factors. From 2016 to 2018, Lopavit worked as a Statistician (Data Scientist) at Brink's Global Technology Limited (BGT), achieving forecast accuracy and developing route optimization models. In 2018, Lopavit joined Minor Hotels as a Data Analyst, and later became a Data Analytics Manager, achieving prediction accuracy and developing customer segmentation models. Currently, Lopavit is the Head of Marketing Analytics at Central Group.

Lopavit Mahapun obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University in the period of 2009 to 2013. Then, Lopavit pursued a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University between 2014 and 2015. In addition, Lopavit has obtained certifications in Leadership Training and Presentation Skills Training from Minor Hotels in 2021 and 2019 respectively. Lopavit also holds Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Green Belt Certificates from the Institute of Industrial Engineers in 2015. Furthermore, Lopavit received a Certificate in Business from Texas A&M University in 2015.
