Rachel Bolton-King is an Associate Professor and Courses Manager of Forensic Science at Nottingham Trent University since July 2023, with extensive experience in academia and forensic science. Holding multiple roles at Staffordshire University since October 2011, Rachel has been a Visiting Fellow, Director of the Staffordshire University Cold Case Unit, Associate Professor of Forensic Science, and a Lecturer in Forensic Investigation, specializing in analytical chemistry, firearms, and ballistics. Rachel also contributes as an Award Leader for Certificates of Professional Competence for Staffordshire Police and serves as a Visiting Associate Professor at The Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences. As Editor in Chief of the Science & Justice Journal and a member of various editorial boards, Rachel plays a significant role in advancing forensic science literature. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Forensic Firearms Identification and Imaging from Nottingham Trent University and other relevant certifications.
