Bill Simmons

Bill Simmons is a seasoned quality management professional with extensive experience in the chemicals and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the Fluorochemicals Global Quality Manager at The Chemours Company since June 2015, Bill oversees global quality management processes, ensuring ISO 9001:2015 compliance, and leads the quality initiatives for the launch of Opteon™ YF refrigerant. Previously, Bill held key positions at E. I. DuPont de Nemours and Company, where as a DPS Master Blackbelt, Bill was responsible for global quality management and continuous improvement across 32 sites, driving significant productivity improvements. Bill's career also includes roles as Reliability Engineer at DuPont Performance Elastomers, where Bill led critical programs, and Process Reliability Manager at DaimlerChrysler, managing tooling and process engineering while overseeing assembly operations. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Widener University.
