Konstantinos Kontomaris

Konstantinos (Kostas) Kontomaris, Ph.D., serves as a Senior Technical Fellow at The Chemours Company since July 2015, focusing on Next Generation Refrigerants and Foam Expansion Agents. Prior to this role, Kontomaris was a Technical Fellow at The Chemours Company, and before that, held positions at DuPont Fluorochemicals, including Principal Investigator and Senior Research Associate, where expertise centered on Working Fluids for Cooling, Heating, and Power Generation, as well as Chemical and Biochemical Reaction Engineering. Earlier in the career, Kontomaris worked as a Refining R&D Engineer at BP. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. and a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, both obtained from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
