Rodney Karlstrand

Security at Chicago Bears

Rodney Karlstrand started their law enforcement career in 1984 with the United States Marine Corps. Rodney served as a corrections specialist and cross country chaser before being honorably discharged in 1994. Rodney then joined the Waukegan Police Department, where they served as a sergeant of police until 2016. In November 2000, they also joined the Northern Illinois Police Alarm System, where they served as team commander until 2016. In September 2017, they left both police departments to become the deputy director of security at Tap Room Gaming, LLC. Rodney held this position until June 2018, when they left to become the security at the Chicago Bears.
