Solana Adedokun

Editor In Chief at The Chicago Maroon

Solana Adedokun has a diverse work experience that includes roles such as Editor in Chief, Grey City Editor, Illustrator, and Senior Reporter at The Chicago Maroon. They also served as a Dialogue Dinner Host at the Institute of Politics at the University of Chicago, where they organized and supervised dinner conversations with notable individuals. Additionally, they have worked as a Building Manager at UChicago Student Centers, a Series Programmer at Doc Films at the University of Chicago, and a Selection Committee member at the International Children's Media Center. Solana Adedokun has also directed films for Fire Escape Films and worked as a Content Creator for JusticeText.

Solana Adedokun began their education at Fort Worth Country Day, where they earned their High School Diploma from 2016 to 2020. Currently, they are attending the University of Chicago and is expected to graduate in 2024 with a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy and Visual Arts.
