Negah Alapour

Negah Alapour currently serves as a Community Engagement Advisor for the City of North Vancouver since April 2024. Prior to this role, Negah worked as a Social Policy Researcher at the BC Society of Transition Houses from August 2021 to April 2024. Past experience also includes positions at Simon Fraser University as a GIS Facilitator, where workshop design and consulting for researchers were key responsibilities, and as a Sustainable City Researcher focusing on smart homes and sustainability. Additionally, Negah has held public engagement roles with the City of Vancouver, contributing to community feedback initiatives. Negah’s educational background includes a Graduate Diploma in Urban Studies from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor’s degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Mazandaran.
