Jennifer Herring

Jennifer Herring has an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Jennifer currently holds the position of Director of Club Operations at The Clubs at Houston Oaks since January 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Clubhouse Manager and Member Services and Sales Manager at the same company. In 2019, they worked as an Event Management professional at Conference Catalysts LLC.

Jennifer also has prior experience in the US Navy, where they worked as a Conference Center and Program Manager and later as a Community Recreation Specialist/Business Manager. Jennifer has also worked as an Assistant Director of Events at Scioto Country Club, where they collaborated with the United States Golf Association to design and sell hospitality packages. Jennifer has executed events for prominent organizations and individuals such as Nationwide Insurance, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and Urban Meyer.

Earlier in their career, Jennifer gained experience through management internships at Charlotte Country Club, The Kansas City Country Club, and as the Head Golf Pro Assistant at Pensacola Country Club. Jennifer has also worked in the service industry as a Server at Colleton River Club.

Jennifer's career began with roles as a Photographer Assistant at Paul Nurnberg Photography and as an Event Planner Assistant at Ashley Rhodes Events. Overall, they have demonstrated a diverse skill set in various roles within the hospitality, management, and event industries.

Jennifer Herring's education history consists of a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Hospitality, Resort and Recreation Management from the University of West Florida, which they obtained in 2015. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree at the University of South Carolina-Beaufort from 2010 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Jennifer has obtained two certifications: BMI Golf from the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) in May 2023, and BMI Club Management from the Club Management Association of America in October 2021.
