Leilany M. Vargas Laborde

Leilany M. Vargas Laborde currently serves as the Supporting Youth Recovery Project Coordinator at The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania Inc., where responsibilities include leading theHRSA's Supporting Youth Recovery program and conducting thorough interviews for students in recovery. Previously, Leilany held the position of Student Support Specialist, contributing to student recruitment and application analysis for the same program. As Board Vice President of NACOPRW-Philadelphia, Leilany actively participates in initiatives supporting the Puerto Rican community. Prior experience includes roles at Flight Centre Travel Group, where expert travel consultations were provided, and as a Community Organizer with Norris Square Community Alliance, focusing on community engagement and empowerment. Leilany completed the Disney College Program as an intern in Food & Beverage, providing guest service. Educational qualifications include pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling, along with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an Associate of Arts in Community and Human Services, all from Eastern University.
