Aftab Ahmed

Aftab Ahmed is an accomplished policy professional currently serving as a Policy Development Officer with the City of Toronto, focusing on initiatives related to shelter safety, homelessness healthcare, and support for seniors experiencing homelessness. As a co-founder and Director of Policy Research at BacharLorai, Aftab drives social impact initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. With extensive experience as a columnist for The Daily Star and Dhaka Tribune, Aftab has authored over 100 articles discussing diverse policy issues.
