Shona East

Shona East is an experienced PR and communications professional, currently serving as the PR & Campaigns Marketing Manager at The Donkey Sanctuary since October 2022. Previously, Shona held the position of Media Manager at the University of Bristol from February 2017 to October 2022 and worked as a Media Officer for Lisa Chesters MP with Ministerial & Parliamentary Services from January 2015 to February 2016, managing a busy media schedule. Earlier experience includes managing media and communications at Cancer Council Victoria, where Shona developed media strategies for awareness and advocacy programs. Additionally, Shona worked as a Senior PR Account Executive at Harrison Cowley, handling a diverse portfolio of clients, and had various roles including PR Manager for the NSPCC/ChildLine and Press Officer for John Lewis. Shona's education includes a BA in Public Relations from Leeds Beckett University and a CIM qualification.
