Milet Lukey obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from the University of the Philippines, which was completed between 1975 and 1979. Later, between 1984 and 1985, Milet pursued a Masters in Business Administration from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
In terms of additional certifications, Milet has acquired various qualifications.
