Michelle Haase has had an extensive work experience in various roles and responsibilities. Michelle has been employed at The Economist since 2015, where they currently hold the position of Head of Impact Partnerships for Japan and Korea. In this role, they collaborate with clients from diverse sectors to develop customized solutions for creating impact. Michelle also worked as the Director of Advertising for Asia Pacific and Impact Partnerships for Japan and Korea at The Economist, overseeing client solutions and the commercial team.

Before joining The Economist, Michelle worked at The New York Times as a Regional Advertising Manager for the APAC region and later as the Digital Advertising Manager for APAC. Prior to that, they were the Sales & Marketing Manager at Energy Media Networks, representing various publications such as NYTimes.com, Reuters.com, Financial Times, Conde Nast Traveler, and Vanity Fair.

Michelle'searlier experience includes working as a Copywriter at Global Sources and as a Media Planner at Pedone & Partners.

Michelle Haase received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Communications from New York University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. In 2007, they attended Beijing Language and Culture University for a short period of time to pursue Intensive Chinese Studies. Michelle also obtained an IAB Digital Media Sales Certification from the IAB in 2015.
