Patrick Foulis

Patrick Foulis is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in the field of finance and foreign affairs. Since May 2008, Foulis has served in various editorial roles at The Economist, including Foreign Editor, Business Affairs Editor, Columnist, New York Bureau Chief, Mumbai Bureau Chief/India Business Editor, Banking Editor, and Finance Correspondent. Prior to this, Foulis worked at the Financial Times from 2006 to 2008 as Deputy Editor of the Lex Column, the publication's primary platform for financial commentary. Foulis holds a Bachelor's degree in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge, earned between 1994 and 1997.
