Sha Fu has extensive work experience in the field of energy and climate change. Sha has held positions at various renowned organizations, including the Energy Foundation, IPCC, and the National Centre for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation. At the Energy Foundation, they served as the Program Director of Low Carbon Economic Growth, where they developed and implemented program strategy and oversaw grants related to decarbonization, market-based instruments, green finance, and climate-resilient economic growth. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Professor at the National Centre for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation, focusing on integrated assessment of climate change mitigation policies and low carbon development strategies. Sha has also been involved in numerous national and international projects and has extensive contacts with government officials, research institutions, and NGOs.
Sha Fu obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Environmental Economics from Renmin University of China. This academic pursuit took place from 2008 to 2012.
