Alejandro B. is a seasoned expert in data science and precision medicine with extensive experience in both industry and academic settings. Currently serving as a Venture Architect at C10 Labs and a Scientific Consultant at Interlink Markets, Alejandro advises early-stage companies and provides scientific advisory on AI and ML applications in healthcare. Previous roles include Senior Director, Head of Data Science at Glympse Bio, and Associate Director & Senior Principal Data Science at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, where Alejandro led multiple significant clinical initiatives. Alejandro holds a Ph.D. in Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics from the University of Michigan, complemented by a Master’s in Biology and a Bachelor’s in Biology from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
