Jane Shay (she/her)

Jane Shay is an experienced educator with a robust background in teaching and educational leadership. Currently serving as the 5th Grade Teacher and Intermediate Section Coordinator at The Evergreen School since July 2019, Jane Shay previously held roles including 4th Grade Lead Teacher and 5th Grade Social Studies Teacher at SJCS from August 2014 to August 2019, as well as Middle School Humanities Teacher at The Jewish Day School of Metropolitan Seattle from August 2011 to August 2014. Jane Shay's teaching career began with a position at Bellevue School District in 2007-2008. Jane Shay holds a Master’s degree from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Tufts University.
