Giulio S.

Giulio S. has a diverse work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Research Associate II at The EVERY Company. Prior to that, they were an Associate Scientist I, Analytical Development and Quality Control at Vaxcyte from 2020. From 2017-2021, Giulio was a Graduate Student Researcher at Stanford University, where they studied the principles of lipid organization in biology, characterized lipid systems, and produced lipids from cell culture. Giulio also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Stanford University Department of Chemistry from 2017-2021. From 2014-2017, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Barnard College, where they studied the principles of protein structure and function, characterized the structure, stability, and function of cytochrome proteins and enzymes from psychrophilic bacterium, and utilized mutagenesis and other methods from structural biology and bioorganometallic chemistry. Lastly, they were a Teaching Assistant at Columbia University in the City of New York from 2017-2021.

Giulio S. began their education in 2009 at Lamoille UHSD #18. Giulio then attended Columbia University from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry & English (double major). Following this, they attended Stanford University from 2017 to 2019, where they earned an MS in the Department of Chemistry, Physical Chemistry.
