Randi started her own personal finance journey in 2011 when she graduated with a mountain of student loan debt after a recession that left "good" paying jobs harder to find. Stress, shame, fear were all words that were tied to her relationship with money and she realized how ridiculous it is that financial literacy education is not more mainstream. After much research, she realized that personal finances were something she could control and "got to work" on her and her husband's financial life. After that, she knew she needed to help more people feel the same sense of relief of taking back that control.
