Shannon Stokes

Shannon Stokes has a diverse work experience in various roles within non-profit organizations. Shannon is currently serving as the Chief Programs Officer at The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri since August 2019. Prior to this, Shannon worked at One Hope United where they held multiple roles including Director of Human Resources & Special Projects from 2017 to 2019, Director of Special Projects from 2013 to 2017, and Director of Programs from 2007 to 2013. During their time at One Hope United, they led various initiatives such as implementing new HR processes, managing the implementation of a case management system, and overseeing a project focused on keeping children and family members together when impacted by substance abuse. Shannon also provided HR support and training, developed job descriptions, and served as a HIPAA Privacy Officer.

Shannon Stokes has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Additionally, Shannon has a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the same university. In 2018, Shannon also obtained the Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
