Alaa al-Dibouni

Alaa Al-Dibouni, PhD, is a skilled Senior Research Scientist at The Francis Crick Institute, specializing in optimizing and validating Nucleic Acid Therapeutics through advanced in vitro and in vivo methodologies. Previous experience includes a role as Scientist at the Medical Research Council, contributing to the Nucleic Acid Therapy Accelerator with expertise in molecular and histological techniques. Alaa completed a PhD in Biological and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Reading, where research focused on pericardial adipose tissue, and actively participated in educational roles, mentoring students and demonstrating laboratory techniques. Alaa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science and has additional experience in autism research and medical conferences.
