Senior Director Of Informatics And Physician Practice Integration at THE GEORGE WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY MEDICAL FACULTY ASSOCIATES, INC

Arlene Bright has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Arlene started their career at GWU Hospital in 1993, where they worked as a Cardiac Electrophysiology RN and later became the Cardiac Cath Lab Manager. In 1999, they transitioned to GWU Medical Faculty Associates as the Manager of Internal Medicine Practice and later took on the role of EHR Clinical Information Specialist. From 2003 to 2007, they worked as a DOM Educator-EHR Specialist, developing clinical and administrative support workflows for staff and physicians in Allscripts EHR. At The George Washington Medical Faculty Associates, Arlene worked as an EHR Clinical Workflow Developer-Trainer, collaborating with the IT team to develop clinical functionality and train staff and physicians on EHR workflows. In 2010, they joined The GW Medical Faculty Associates as the Practice Integration Implementation Manager, responsible for implementing practice management systems and EHRs for new physician practices. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Informatics and Physician Practice Integration, leading the implementation of Allscripts Touchworks EHR for a large multispecialty physician practice.

Arlene Bright pursued their education from 1977 to 1979 at Sandhills Community College, where they completed an Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN). This was their primary field of study during this time.
