Doug Eidel

Doug Eidel has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Doug started their career as an Associate at Galusha, Higgins, & Galusha, P.C. (now a part of Wipfli LLP) in 1997. Doug then worked as a Tax Senior at KPMG before moving on to become a Senior Tax Accountant at Unicru in 2000. After that, they served as a Tax Manager at Columbia Sportswear and Pixelworks from 2001 to 2006. In the same year, they joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Senior Director of Tax and Reporting. Following that, they worked as a Senior Director of Tax and Reporting at FEI Company for ten years. In 2016, Doug joined FLIR Systems as the VP of Tax and Planning, where they later became the VP of Tax and Treasury. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Global Tax at The Greenbrier Companies starting from 2021. Throughout their career, Doug has managed tax operations, led strategic tax planning, ensured compliance, and overseen multinational teams. Doug has also demonstrated accomplishments in reducing the effective tax rate and streamlining tax accounting processes.
