Diversity Equality And Includion Assistant at Guide Dogs

Karishma Shah currently serves as the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Assistant at The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this, Karishma worked as the Policy and Campaigns Manager for Guide Dogs for the Blind (July 2021 - September 2023) and as the Regional Campaigns Officer at RNIB (December 2017 - June 2021), focusing on raising awareness about issues affecting individuals with sight loss. Experience also includes serving as an Independent Living Co-ordinator at Action for Blind People (May 2016 - December 2017) and holding earlier positions such as Governance Support Officer at RNIB and Secretary for the Giraffe Conservation Foundation. Academically, Karishma is pursuing an MA in Law Conversion at The University of Law, following a Master of Laws in Environmental Law and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Nottingham.
