Scott Martling has a diverse range of work experience in the food and consumer goods industries. Scott worked at The Hain Celestial Group from 2017 until the present, starting as the Director of R&D - Better for You Pantry and progressing to the role of Senior Director of R&D. In their current position, they lead R&D teams in developing yogurt, meat-free, grocery, and baby food products across North America. Prior to that, they held various director-level roles within the R&D department at The Hain Celestial Group, focusing on different product categories such as yogurt, baby products, and fresh living. Before joining The Hain Celestial Group, they worked at NBTY as the Director of Innovation and later as the Senior Manager of Product Design & Development. Scott was responsible for driving innovation and overseeing product development. Prior to NBTY, they spent 14 years at the International Food Network as Associate Director of R&D, and they began their career at Kraft Foods as a Packaging Engineer.
Scott Martling holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Food Science from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Agricultural Engineering from Iowa State University. Scott has also obtained a certification in Managing Change from LinkedIn in 2019.
