Louise Marshall

Senior Public Health Fellow at The Health Foundation

Louise Marshall has had a diverse work experience in the field of public health. Louise started their career as a PhD Student and later worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the MRC Human Nutrition Research. In 2009, they joined the NHS as a Specialty Registrar in Public Health, where they worked until 2016. During this time, they also held positions at various organizations such as NHS Bedfordshire, PHG Foundation, and Nuffield Trust as a Specialty Registrar in Public Health. In 2012, they were employed by the Nuffield Trust as a Specialty Registrar, and in the same year, they joined the PHG Foundation in a similar role. In 2013, Louise became an Honorary Consultant in Public Health at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where they also acted as a Specialty Registrar in Public Health, with their role transitioning to Acting Consultant in Public Health from August 2014. Finally, in 2014, they became a Senior Public Health Fellow at The Health Foundation, where they continue to work presently.

Louise Marshall started their education by completing a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Public Health Nutrition from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London from 2001 to 2002. Louise then pursued a PhD degree from the University of Cambridge, majoring in an unspecified field, which they completed between 2002 and 2006. Later on, they attended the University of Cambridge again and obtained an MPhil degree in Public Health from 2009 to 2010.
