Ailish Farragher

Ailish Farragher is an experienced information specialist currently working at the Health Research Board (HRB) since June 2020, focusing on producing evidence products for the Department of Health. Ailish held the position of Knowledge Manager at Eugene F. Collins Solicitors from March 2019 to June 2020, and previously served as Legal Information Centre Manager at the same firm from 2008 to 2019, providing essential library and information services across various legal practices. Early career experiences include roles as Assistant Librarian at the Health Research Board and RTÉ TV & Radio, as well as Librarian at the Department of Finance, where a modern library was established. Ailish also contributed to the development of an online taxonomy for Local Ireland from 1999 to 2001. Ailish holds a Master of Library & Information Science from University College Dublin, along with various other educational qualifications in Library and Information Science, Economics, and English & Philosophy.
