Mustafa Obeid

Research Assistant at The Hebrew University

Mustafa Obeid is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in research and education within the biomedical field. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Mustafa's focus is on the WWOX gene and its implications in CNS-related disorders, working with various brain cell types. In addition to research, Mustafa has contributed as a Teaching Assistant in the Youth Division for the advancement of science education and has held roles that emphasize leadership and community engagement, including involvement in a student leadership program and tutoring. Mustafa's background also includes language instruction and translation, aimed at empowering women in Jerusalem, as well as volunteer work at Hadassah Medical Center. Mustafa holds a Bachelor's degree in biomedical science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
