Linda Chen has extensive work experience in various roles, primarily in the retail industry. Linda is currently the Director of Customer Services & Business Development at THE ICONIC since October 2022. Prior to this, Linda worked at THE ICONIC as the Growth & Business Development Director, where they led strategic growth initiatives to pivot the business during and post-COVID.

Before joining THE ICONIC, Linda was the Head of Vendor Management at THE ICONIC, where they transformed a newly restructured team and established a scalable structure and process to sustain the company's hyper-growth in online retailing. Linda also worked on company-wide projects to reengineer the total Supply Chain based activities and Trading Terms.

Earlier in their career, Linda worked at Metcash as the National Category Manager - Private Label, where they oversaw the development of the private label program for the leading wholesaler and distributor in the food and grocery, liquor, and hardware industries.

Prior to that, Linda was the New Product Development & Sourcing Manager at Category Solutions Pty Ltd, where they managed product development projects from concept to launch within tight timelines and small budgets.

Linda also has experience as an International Marketing Consultant at Apollo Foods Ltd and as an International Product Manager in both Foodstuffs North Island Ltd and Foodstuffs (Wellington) Co-operative Ltd. At Foodstuffs (Wellington) Co-operative Ltd, they were also involved in establishing a blue print division for non-retail procurement and project managed the establishment of the Global Buying Office in China.

Overall, Linda Chen has a strong background in business development, vendor management, product development, and global sourcing, with a focus on strategic growth and transformation within the retail industry.

Linda Chen completed their education at Massey University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Victoria University of Wellington from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce Administration (BCA) degree with a double major in International Business and Money & Finance.
