Shaun Baras

Shaun Baras is an experienced operations manager currently serving at The Independence Fund since April 2023, where responsibilities include overseeing the Veteran Justice Initiative and logistics coordination. Prior to this role, Shaun held various positions at Wells Fargo from October 2021 to March 2023 as a Financial Crimes Specialist and Consultant. Previous law enforcement experience includes serving as a Police Officer with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and as a Deputy Sheriff with the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office. Additionally, Shaun worked as a Revenue Officer for the Internal Revenue Service from September 2019 to August 2020. Shaun Baras holds a Bachelor's degree in Homeland Security and Public Safety from Vincennes University.
