Chris Maddaloni has a diverse work experience in the field of photography and video production. Chris is currently working as the Head of Video at The Irish Times since 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Photo Editor at Springer Nature from 2016 to 2019. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Photo Editor at the same company. Before their time at Springer Nature, Chris worked as a Freelance Photojournalist from 2013 to 2016. Chris has also worked as a Photojournalist at CQ Roll Call, covering national politics and prestigious publications such as The New Yorker and Esquire. Additionally, they served as a Senior Staff Photographer at Gannett Government Media Corporation, covering U.S. military affairs from 2008 to 2011. Chris started their career in television production and photography, working as a freelance Production Assistant for shows like Fox's America's Most Wanted and History Channel's Cities of the Underworld: Dublin, Ireland.
