Joyce Dunn

Joyce Dunn has over 30 years of work experience in the insurance and healthcare industries. Joyce started their career at Lumber Mutual Insurance, where they served as Regional Vice President for 15 years. Joyce then joined Canal Insurance Company as Chief Underwriting Officer, where they led various departments and implemented significant changes in the organization. In 2009, they joined The Jacobson Group as an Engagement Director and currently holds the position of Vice President, Managing Director. In this role, they consult with clients and manages searches within the firm's executive retained search practice unit. Additionally, they developed and maintains relationships with client companies and candidates. In 2010, they briefly served as the Director of Underwriting Strategy at FirstBest Systems, Inc. Overall, Joyce Dunn has demonstrated expertise in leadership, underwriting, product management, and executive search within the insurance industry.

Joyce Dunn, MSM, CPCU, CIC, CRM, PHR completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Accounting from Lander University from 1973 to 1977. Joyce then pursued a Master of Science in Risk Management and Insurance from Florida State University - College of Business, graduating between 2009 and 2011. In 2008, Joyce also attended an Executive Leadership Course at Harvard University. Additionally, they have acquired professional designations including CPCU, CIC, CRM, and PHR.
