Michael Kramer

Michael Kramer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and software architecture, currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory since January 2017. Additionally, Michael has been the President of Computing Frontiers since February 2015, focusing on computer software architecture design and development. Prior roles include Vice President at NetCentric Solutions from October 2009 to February 2015, Senior Director at mFormation Technologies from October 2007 to September 2009, and Principal Program Manager Lead at Microsoft from October 2003 to October 2007. Earlier career achievements include serving as Executive Director and Chief Scientist at Bellcore and as a Member of Technical Staff at NYNEX Science & Technology Co., Ltd. Michael Kramer holds a Ph.D. in Physics from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, and a BA in Physics from Yeshiva University.
