Head Of Digital at The Lakes Distillery

Karen Ripley has a wealth of experience in digital and marketing roles. Karen began their career in 2004 as a Marketing Co-ordinator for Abacus (Caledonia) Ltd - Training & Consultancy, where they were responsible for co-ordinating all marketing activity, developing marketing material and communications literature, and managing training events. In 2006 they moved to Citylets, where they managed and co-ordinated marketing activity for an online property rental organization. In 2008, they became a Marketing Executive for Match Point Group, a corporate hospitality events organization, where they gained international experience. From 2009 to 2014, they were the Marketing Manager for The Bazaar Group, an award-winning SME that designs, manufactures, and sells soft furnishings. During this time, they were responsible for the commercial marketing strategy and delivering a portfolio of high quality websites. Since 2016, they have been the Head of Digital at The Lakes Distillery, and prior to that they were the Brand Manager for Symington's Limited, where they managed all marketing for a gluten free food brand.

Karen Ripley attended King William's College, Isle of Man from 1999 to 2001, and then Lancaster University from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
