Chris Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Chris started their career as an IT Analyst at Turner & Townsend in 2002. After that, they worked as the UK IT Manager at Bite Communications from 2005 to 2009, and then transitioned to the role of IT Manager EMEA until 2010. In 2011, they became an IT Team Leader at Birkby's Plastics, leading the IT department until 2012. Chris then joined the Medical Protection Society and held various roles, such as Network Analyst (Contract), Senior Network Analyst, Technical Architect, and Infrastructure Solutions Manager, including a brief stint as an Infrastructure Solutions Manager (Interim). Currently, they are the Security and Technology Architect at the Medical Protection Society.
Chris Johnson attended the University of Birmingham from 1998 to 2001, where they pursued a BA (Hons.) degree in Political Science. In terms of additional certifications, Chris obtained the TOGAF 9 Certified qualification from The Open Group in September 2015. Chris then obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification from Microsoft in February 2022. Finally, Chris acquired the SABSA Foundation SCF certification from The SABSA Institute in March 2023.
