Caitlin O'Brien

Caitlin O'Brien has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Caitlin started their career as a rotational intern at Hilton Palacio del Rio, where they worked in various departments including front office, housekeeping, and catering & sales. Caitlin then interned at JW Marriott Hill Country Resort & Spa as a Food & Beverage Intern and welcomed guests at the fine dining restaurant. Caitlin also gained experience as a Catering & Events Intern at Hilton Palacio del Rio, where they planned and executed holiday parties and organized a sales blitz. Caitlin continued their internship journey at Marriott in the Texas Medical Center as a Front Desk Host, providing hospitality services to guests. Caitlin then joined MGM Resorts International as a Hotel Sales & Convention Services Intern, where they executed a follow-up program for the sales team and shadowed different departments at MGM Grand. Caitlin further advanced their career at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, where they served as an Executive Meeting Sales Manager and later as a Management Trainee for Hotel Sales. Currently, Caitlin is working at The Mirage as the Executive Director of Sales, responsible for overseeing sales operations and managing a team.

Caitlin O'Brien has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Houston. Caitlin attended the Conrad N. Hilton College for Hotel & Restaurant Management and was part of the Honors College. Caitlin also pursued a minor in Sales. Prior to attending university, Caitlin O'Brien completed their high school education at Incarnate Word High School. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including "Learning from Failure" and "Managing Team Creativity" from LinkedIn. Caitlin also holds a Sales Professional Certificate from the Program for Excellence in Selling at the University of Houston, CT Bauer Business School.
