Malcond Valladares is an experienced food scientist with a diverse background in food product development, safety, and research. Currently serving as a Food Scientist at The National Food Lab, Inc. since March 2019 and Eurofins since August 2018, Malcond has previously held positions at Covance, International Food Network, and the Inter-American Development Bank, where responsibilities included research on foodborne pathogens and food safety training. Malcond's educational background includes a PhD in Food Science and Technology from the University of Tennessee, a Master of Science in Food Science and Technology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology from EAP Zamorano.
