Rita Yonkers

Rita Yonkers currently serves as a Senior Global Compensation Analyst at The Nature Conservancy, a role held since April 2023. Prior to this, Rita worked as a Compensation & HR Analyst at Inteva Products for a brief period in early 2023. Rita's extensive experience in human resources includes positions such as Human Resources Manager, Supervisor of Human Resources, and Talent Solutions Specialist at Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union from March 2014 to January 2023, as well as an Executive Administrative Assistant at Macy's from March 2012 to February 2014. Earlier in Rita's career, roles included Contract Attorney and Law Clerk at the Law Office of James Shikany and contributions as Associate Editor and Co-Author for the Animal Law Review. Rita also gained experience as Student Coordinator and Intern at the Animal Law Clinic while studying at Lewis & Clark Law School, where a Juris Doctor and a Certificate in Environmental & Natural Resources Law were earned. Rita holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy from the University of Michigan.
